Manager, Product Specialist (Certent Disclosure Management)

The Team The Data and Analytics team of Global Finance and Risk Technology (GF&RT) department provides data management and analytical solutions supporting Finance and Risk regulatory and executive reporting, business intelligence and customer relationship management.

The Role Reporting to Senior Technical Product Owner, the incumbent will be a specialist in Certent Disclosure Management (CDM) platform to meet the reporting needs of Global Finance and Global Risk departments.

Some of the Key Accountabilities include: Acquires expertise level in CDM platform Responsible for the development and delivery of reports in accordance with service level agreements and operational standards, ensuring alignment with business needs and requirements Champions a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge Provides user support with synthesizing and interpreting report data based on requests Collaborates with business groups to understand report/data requests and fulfill them Holds self accountable for developing reports in an accurate and timely manner Supports a culture of continuous improvement by seeking and identifying opportunities to improve/enhance reporting design and development activities What You Will Bring to Succeed University degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science/Finance related field 5 years of experience in data analysis, report design and development 5 years of hands-on experience developing financial reports Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Good knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle), Oracle Smart View, SQL and MDX Proven interpersonal, analytical, and problem resolution skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills The Workplace We are technology partners who help the business transform how our employees around the world work We have an inclusive and collaborative working environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and celebrates success You’ll get to work with and learn from diverse industry leaders, who have hailed from top technology companies around the world We foster an environment of innovation and continuous learning We care about our people, allowing them to design how they work to deliver amazing results We offer a competitive total rewards package, including a performance bonus, company matching programs (on pension & profit sharing), and generous vacation Scotiaban k As Canada’s International Bank, we are a diverse and global team.
