Network Engineer

Marshwinds International Inc.

This is a Full-time position in Toronto, ON posted June 25, 2019.

We are looking for a network engineer to take a key role on deployment and maintenance of our network infrastructure, which is heavily based on Arista equipment.

Currently our main projects are setting up a new collo and expanding on our current infrastructure.

We are proud to use dynamic routing and the position will require in depth knowledge of BGP and OSPF.

Maintain network and bring new connections up Maintain Palo Alto Firewalls Execute change management according to documented procedures Set up new connections with different data partners and clients Apply best practices and necessary upgrades Participate on DR Tests Interact with other tools to automate tasks through the development of test and monitoring scripts Network Benchmarks and performance tests Participate on a on call rotation schedule Required Qualifications Arista Switches configuration Proven experience with Dynamic Routing (OSPFBGP).

Network scalability planning and best practices Knowledge on Financial Markets Data.

Multicast data distribution knowledge and troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge on collocation deployment and cross connects Scripting and Bash Shell knowledge In depth knowledge transport protocols, routing protocols, and securityauthentication protocols at all layers of the OSI model with emphasis on IPV4 are essential.

Must have experience configuring networking and protocols such as spanning tree, ARP, CDP, OSPF, BGP, Etherchannel, 802.1Q trunking, Arista VARPMLAG, HSRP, QoS, multicast, 802.03, IPsec, RADIUS, SNMP, LACP, CPD, LLDP.

Experience troubleshooting Windows and Linux networking issues Hands on experience with Layer 7 Firewalls and IDS Familiarity with BGP OSPF Arista Cisco CLI SSH Linux Palo Alto Multicast
