WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Here’s what you can expect on a typical day:

• Primary focus on iOS application’s enhancement and new feature development.
• Ensure performance, quality, and security.
• Define and oversee application architecture.
• Integrate polished user experiences with modern design patterns.
• Partner with other talented engineers on the team to design and build new features and enhancements in the WorkMarket product.
• Mentor junior engineers in their technical careers to help them grow.
• Solve complex design and implementation problems in a highly transactional system, with focus on scalability and reliability.
• Partner with the team’s product owner to learn the application domain and to refine feature specifications.
• Help to define and refine engineering practices for the team and broader engineering organization.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• You’ll have a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer working with Swift, Cocoa
• In-depth knowledge of and ability to apply design and architectural patterns.
• Experience in writing unit tests and UI tests
• Experience integrating APIs and back-end services with mobile applications.
• A demonstrated ability in delivering clean, organized, testable, and highly performant code.
• Passion for engineering best practices.
• Experience working within an agile development framework.
• Track record of building software with quality and of high performance
• Experience in development of SDK
• Stay current on iOS, Android and other mobile platform technology trends and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-throughput user-facing transactional systems.
