Software sales account executive

This is a Full-time position in Richmond Hill, ON posted November 7, 2019.

Job Description Position:This is a full time, inside sales position in a fast paced, rapidly expanding, entrepreneurial software company in Richmond Hill, Ontario.

The role is diverse, working with SMB clients in the public and private sector; helping them adopt a leading requirements definition and management solution; as part of their ALM or Dev Ops practice. Primary Functions:1.

Attainment of quarterly and annual sales objectives2.

Contact leads via email /phone to schedule online demos / meetings with new ‘qualified’ prospectsa.

Some leads are provided, and some need to be personally developed in order to meet sales targetsi.

Create interestii.

Discover and document clients’ needs based on a pre-defined questionnaireiii.

Qualify the prospect / opportunity (size, budget, timeline, competition, etc.)iv.

Understand the clients’ organization (high level) and build a relationshipv.

Demonstrate the application, when applicable3.

Record all contacts, account activities and opportunities in our CRM (Salesforce)4.

Follow up on all client software evaluations to ensure successa.

Perform 1st level pre-sales technical support5.

Produce reports from our CRMa.

Pipeline forecastsb.

Lead to meeting conversion rates, etc.Mandatory Requirements:1.

Undergraduate or College degree2.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a like role, preferably in IT B2B software sales3.

Comfortable working exclusively on the phone and with web conferencingQualifications:1.

Technical orientation; very comfortable using new applications2.

Demonstrable client centric approach3.

Track record of ‘hunter’ sales success4.

Demonstrable ability to pay attention to detail5.

Strong written and oral communication skills-English6.

Strong personal organization skills7.

Ability to work independently and as a part of a team; coachable8.

Willingness to work after hours to complete a task or contact clients in other time zones9.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office10.
