Manufacturing Team Lead

We are looking for a Manufacturing Team Lead for our client in Brampton, ON. This is a full-time, permanent role where you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of a team of production workers and ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing process. Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the manufacturing process from start to finish, ensuring the timely and efficient completion of production tasks.

  • Collaborating with the Production Manager to develop production schedules, allocate resources, and manage production priorities to meet customer demands and delivery timelines.:

  • Maintaining high-quality standards by enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control measures.

  • Conducting regular inspections of products and production lines, addressing any non-conformance issues promptly and implementing corrective actions.

  • Championing a culture of safety and ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

  • Conducting safety meetings and training sessions to promote awareness and prevent accidents.

  • Continuously identifying areas for process improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and optimize workflow efficiency.

  • Maintaining accurate production records, including output, downtime, and any incidents that occur during production.

  • Generating reports on productivity, quality metrics, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve manufacturing performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibilities.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team effectively.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control procedures, and safety protocols.

  • Familiarity with production planning and scheduling software is advantageous.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve production-related issues efficiently.

  • Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills are essential to meet production deadlines.

  • Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing production demands.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada.
