Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Canlak Inc., located in Markham, is a private company specializing in wood coating products.

Canlak Inc. offers a comprehensive range of wood coating products designed for the sports, commercial, and residential flooring sectors, as well as for cabinet and furniture manufacturing.

In this position, the person is responsible for receiving and shipping merchandise from the site.
Their main tasks will be as follows:

• Receive and ship merchandise;
• Check that the merchandise and quantities received match the related documents;
• Enter merchandise-related information into the system;
• Prepare orders;
• Clear storage areas;
• Manage empty pallets;
• Maintain workspaces;
• Prepare the work area and participate in inventory counting;
• Operate a lift platform and forklift;
• Prepare loading and unloading areas for the next day;
• Perform any other related tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to occasionally lift loads up to 25 kg;
• Experience with a forklift/pallet jack.
