Warehouse and Inventory Lead

This is a Full-time position in St Catharines, ON posted June 26, 2019.

We are looking for a Warehouse and Inventory Lead to join our clients St.

Catharines team.

They need someone who is extremely articulate and has drastically improved inventory management systems in the past.

Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the drive to do well are all necessary to succeed in this role.

This is an opportunity to lead a team, implement best practices, and grow professionally.

Who you are You have direct experience working in a warehouse environment and are knowledgeable about order fulfillment best practices, supply chain logistics, and inventory management systems.

You are a natural leader and may have been an Inventory Control Lead or Manager in the past.

You are someone who thrives in an environment that requires multi-tasking and do not get easily overwhelmed when working on multiple projects.

You have a keen eye for detail and have impeccable organization skills.

As the new Warehouse and Inventory Lead, you will focus on: Inventory management.

You will create a protocol to adequately handle the exchange, disposition and inventory management of materials in the warehouse.

You will track this information in our database(s) and keep a record of all requisitions, orders, and auxiliary documents.

You will ensure all information related to inventory is up to date and accurate and may be required to clean mobility devices such as wheelchairs, elevating equipment and power scooters or other loaner equipment.

Lead a team.

You will support your team wherever needed and foster a collaborative team atmosphere.

You will teach, coach and motivate your team members to the point that their work consistently exceeds expectations.

You will work with other business departments, such as sales and service teams, to ensure all parts are available when needed.

What you bring The Skillset.

You have a keen eye for detail and are meticulous when it comes to the accuracy of your work.

You are a fast learner and can pick up on new technology quickly.

You are well-versed in basic software programs and are comfortable handling database entry.

You have 3-5 years of direct, hands-on experience in a warehouse or inventory role.

You own the inventory management process and are dedicated to its success.

The Leadership Skills.

You communicate in a clear manner thats easily understood by everyone in the supply chain.

You dont hesitate when it comes to speaking your mind or asking for clarification.

You are eager to support the sales team and committed to helping them hit their targets.

You are assertive and hold yourself accountable when it comes to inventory management.

The Drive and Motivation.

You are dependable and resourceful; solving problems accurately and accurately.

You work efficiently and actively contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Additional Requirements.

You are capable of lifting up to fifty (50) pounds and ideally have your forklift certification.

A clear criminal background check and eligibility for bonding is a requirement.
