Adecco is currently hiring a temporary full-time Hand Soldering Technician to work for our client in Scarborough, ON. This role requires 3+ years of hand soldering experience, ability to read and interpret work instructions, schematics, and diagrams with ease. Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards is preferred. You should possess strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality standards while working in a fast-paced environment.

Pay rate: $18.00/hour
Location: Scarborough, ON
Shifts: 7:00am – 3:00pm
Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 4-6month contract with possible extension

Responsibilities:
Perform hand soldering and brazing of wires onto flexible printed circuit boards, following
engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical specifications.
Inspect and verify the quality and accuracy of soldered and brazed joints, ensuring they conform to traveler.
Troubleshoot soldering and brazing issues as they arise, making necessary adjustments to achieve optimal results.
Packages product using dessicants, anti-static materials and shock absorbing foam as
indicated on the traveler.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
Provide input on process improvements and actively participate in continuous
improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and product excellence.
Follows all health and safety policies and procedures.
Wears personal protective equipment as prescribed.
Follows all Company policies and procedures.
Attends meetings as required and actively participates.
Carries out housekeeping duties in order to maintain a clean work area and department clean.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
Minimum of three (3) years solder assembly of electronics
Familiar with MIL-P-50884 and IPC-A-610
Inspection experience an asset
Stands/sits for up to 4 hours per day
Works with chemicals
Works under tight deadlines
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Ability to meet deadlines
Detail oriented in order to work with product
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent hand and eye co-ordination
