Logistics Coordinator

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Logistics Coordinator for a leading lighting manufacturer in Richmond Hill, ON. As a Logistics Coordinator you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within the supply chain.

• Pay rate: $50,000 /year

• Location: Richmond Hill (hybrid – in office Wednesday, from home rest of the week)

• Shifts: 8:30 am – 5:00pm

• Job type: Permanent| Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate Freight Rates with Carriers

• Reviews and enters freight invoices into system

• Files Freight Claims

• Requests POD and deals with Customer issues related to deliveries. Provides guidance and solutions for complex logistics problems

• Produce Assist sheets and provide customs documents to Customs for shipment coming into Canada

• Makes arrangements for delivery appointments, and confirms if special delivery instructions are required

• Prepares US customs paperwork for moving shipments to the US

Qualifications:

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

• 1 year experience with Logistics, Freight and Customs

• Experience with MS Office application (Word, Excel, Email, Powerpoint)

• Experience with Microsoft Navision would be an asset

• Ability to Multi task

• Excellent Communication skills
