Job Description ArcelorMittal Tubular Products located in Woodstock Ontario is a steel tube and automotive component manufacturer.

We are currently recruiting to fill the position of Tube Mill Manufacturing Engineer / Technologist.The successful candidate will have experience as a Manufacturing Engineering Technologist in the steel / tube mill / automotive manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to maintain product quality and output on all processes within the Tube Mill Group as well as to identify and implement improvements.

This role works closely with production and maintenance to troubleshoot processes and equipment malfunctions, establish Preventative Maintenance programs, and assist with procurement of tooling, equipment and spare parts for new and existing processes.

As a Manufacturing Engineering Technologist, you will assist with the identification and implementation of continuous improvement projects and process changes, coordinate and manage Engineering Change Requests, and participate on new product / process project teams.

Engineering support at customer facilities may also be required.Work Experience:3-5 years’ experience in a production facility.Experience in a tube mill would be an asset.Basic knowledge of hydraulics and machine controls.Direct experience in the operation of automated machinery.Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving industrial processes.Verbal and written communication of technical information.Experience in coordinating and working with others to start-up new processes and develop continuous improvement programs.Education:Must have completed a College or University level program in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.Must have basic computer skills with spreadsheets, word processing & AutoCAD.Must have basic knowledge or be familiar with ISO / IATF procedures.What we offer:Competitive compensation packageHealth and Dental BenefitsPension PlanProfessional Development opportunitiesWe are an equal opportunity employer.
