Marketing and Graphic Design Assistant

Job Summary CBRE Canada is looking to hire a Marketing and Graphic Design Assistant to join our Occupier Client Solutions team. The primary focus of this role is to provide general marketing, design and administrative support to help the team win and retain more business.   Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for administrative tasks within the client solutions team, including maintaining salesforce, scheduling, minuting meetings, and executing other tasks, as required
  • Maintain and develop case studies, team member resumes, and marketing materials using predesigned templates in MS Word and InDesign
  • Responsible for basic layout, typesetting, design, and production activities to produce quality graphic design artwork using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).
  • Create custom organizational charts, proposal covers and basic graphics (e.g. process charts).
  • Provide basic presentation support by fixing formatting issues (e.g. inconsistent use of fonts, colours, slide layout) in MS PowerPoint
  • Provide editing support for various business development-related requests
  • Provide basic proposal development support by gathering and formatting case studies and pre-written corporate info using Microsoft Word, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Maintain document library for the National Occupier Intranet by adding new documents and updating existing documents to ensure an evergreen document management system
  • Uphold company brand standards and guidelines
  • Organize and coordinate work assignments with vendors and provide vendors with items necessary to complete projects

  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal clients
  • Ability to effectively present information
  • Requires little knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages

  • Ability to understand and carry out general instructions
  • Ability to solve problems in standard situations
  • Intermediate skills with various software programs such as Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or university preferred. (Marketing, graphic design, communications or related field an asset)
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience, preferably in a professional services environment. While knowledge of commercial real estate is a plus, it is not required.   SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES
  • No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position
