Fitter

DCL International Inc. is a well-established and fast-growing business, and we are looking for a Fitter! DCL designs, manufactures and sells advanced engineering technologies worldwide to reduce emissions and to produce clean energy. DCL supplies to world-leading engine manufacturers, original equipment manufacturers, and aftermarket retrofit.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Stainless steel associated components fitting for engine manufacturing
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to execute fit-up
  • Fit-up process equipment system
  • Perform constructability review to identify any issue that might prevent proper fabrication
  • Dismantle and rebuild repairs and system as required
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawing specifications and technical manuals
  • Complete paperwork associated with weld numbers, weld maps, and other QA related documents as needed

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • High School Diploma and/or Welder Trade Certification
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Fitter / Welder
  • Proficiency in making custom fabrications using MIG welding techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, complete repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods of time
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to use power tools, drill grinder, and ability to use custom jigs for fitting process
  • Ability to use lifting devices and jib crane
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more (non-repetitive)
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Excellent team player
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and organize deadlines and priorities

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time, 40hrs a week
  • Shifts: 6:00AM – 2:30PM & 2:30 PM to 11:00PM,
