Mechanical Helper

DCL International Inc. is a well-established and fast-growing business, and we are looking for a Mechanical Helper! DCL designs, manufactures and sells advanced engineering technologies worldwide to reduce emissions and to produce clean energy. DCL supplies to world-leading engine manufacturers, original equipment manufacturers, and aftermarket retrofit.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely produce required quantity and quality of parts in a timely and efficient manner to meet customer needs in accordance with plant and company specifications
  • Assemble a wide variety of products while ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Operate powered and manual equipment to OHSA/Company safety standards
  • Assemble, clean and maintain welding products

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Forklift License (an asset)
  • Previous assembly experience (an asset)
  • Knowledge of standard safety procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint specifications
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Basic computer skills, data entry, and measurement skills
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent team player
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and organize deadlines and priorities

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Position Type: Permanent Full-Time, 40hrs a week
  • Shifts: 6:00AM – 2:30PM & 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
  • Salary: TBD
  • Anticipated Start Date: ASAP
  • Location: Concord, Ontario
