Spray Painter

DCL International Inc. is a well-established and fast-growing business, and we are looking for a Spray Painter! DCL designs, manufactures and sells advanced engineering technologies worldwide to reduce emissions and to produce clean energy. DCL supplies to world-leading engine manufacturers, original equipment manufacturers, and aftermarket retrofit.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clean grease and dirt from product safely
  • Select and mix coating liquid according to specifications, using a mechanical mixer
  • Spray surfaces of manufactured products with the protective material, using a spray gun
  • Coat areas inaccessible to hand sprayer, using a brush
  • Maintain cleanliness of spraying equipment and brushes
  • Perform preventive maintenance of paint spraying equipment
  • Replace filters as needed
  • Adhere to Health & Safety and quality standards

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of standard safety procedures
  • Comfortable working in a shop environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and organize deadlines and priorities
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Customer-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and on time delivery
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time, 40hrs a week
  • Shift: 9:00AM – 5:30PM
