The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for providing financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts under his or her control.

Essential Job Functions Reconciliation of accounts daily Monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities Investigate and resolve customer queries Research, understand, and process adjustments Organizing a recovery system and initiate collection efforts Communicating with customers via phone and email Interact with Sales Department and customers to resolve discrepancies Develop and monitor sound credit policies; perform credit checks Support the company in optimizing our financial transactions and systems by performing reconciliation of payments and customer accounts Communicate discrepancies to the management team, identify slow-paying customers, and recommend collection candidates Strengthen and grow relationships with clients by communicating with customers regarding past-due accounts What we need: Finance degree or Professional accounting degree preferred.

5 years of experience in the A/R function Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with partners, staff and fellow department members, as well as clients.

French is not required but would be an asset Skilled in problem solving and the ability to multi-task several duties at once and prioritize them.
