– Benefits Consulting Toronto, ON Full-time Health & Productivity Solutions Benefit programs are an important and highly-valued part of any employment offering.

By providing you with the resources to engage employees in their health, we provide a path to better workforce health and productivity.

The Analyst in Benefits Consulting is responsible for providing technical support to both clients and the internal team within the Benefits Consulting practice.

As an Analyst you will be working on Corporate Accounts throughout the marketplace.

Responsibilities: Responds to client inquiries pertaining to their group insurance plans Supports the relationship between clients and other members of team Reviews and analyzes benefit plan contracts and documentation Analyzes and prepares financial information relating to benefits plan annual renewals and client proposals Updates client information on internal databases Liaises with internal administrators and insurance providers regarding administration of client plans Drafts reports and correspondence; prepares presentations to meet specific client needs Conducts industry research on issues and trends affecting client benefits plans Attends internal training sessions to build knowledge of industry topics and trends Assists with special projects, as required Attends and participates in client meetings on occasion.

Qualifications: 2-4 years of benefits-related experience Post-secondary education and/or related courses in group benefits (CEBS) Excellent mathematical and analytical skills Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills Dedicated team player, who demonstrates initiative and independence Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments A good understanding of personal computers and software, particularly MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint LI-PH1 INDAM Job Grade: MS2 Fulfilling work that matters Morneau Shepell is in the business of helping organizations help their people and in the process, we strive to elevate ours.
