AVP, Regulatory Reporting

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted June 27, 2019.

Responsible for daily Risk Adjusted Capital (RAC) computation Preparation of IIROC Monthly Financial Report (MFR) and annual Form 1 regulatory reports and create management presentation to review with Regulatory team, CFO and CEO Reconciliation of regulatory reports to GL, interaction with Operations, Product Control, Corporate Accounting, IT and Softek to resolve discrepancies Support projects on new products which includes developing and testing daily reports and ensure system setups are correct for regulatory reports Research IIROC rules for new products and regulatory updates to ensure the firm is in compliance with regulations Maintain desktop procedures and review controls to ensure regulatory reporting processes are accurate and up-to-date Collaborate with auditors and regulators during annual audits Provide assistance on US monthly FOCUS report 3 to 5 years of Regulatory or Accounting experience in a Canadian Broker Dealer or Securities firms Knowledge of IIROC regulations, securities trading, securities financing (Repo, Securities Borrowing/Lending) and Underwriting Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoints, and various applications.
