This is a Full-time position in Richmond Hill, ON posted June 27, 2019.

PURPOSE OF JOB To be involved with virtually all aspects of managing and developing the Business Services category under the direction of the Manager of Technical Services.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFinancials 10% Negotiate vendor buying/service agreements and programs between the company and respective suppliers.Responsible for maintaining pricing integrity.Responsible for achieving sales and profit margin budgets.Inventory and Department Management 10% Develop sales strategies for the product or services within department.Ensure merchandise is available to meet/increase in demand for promotional events.Responsible for achieving inventory turn. Perform line reviews. Create purchase orders generating replenishment via EDI/AS400 systems.Monitor integrity of AS400 data as well as utilize the system for purposes of analyzing stock levels for specific locations, creating orders for each location and ensuring that all vendor recalled product has a zero-balance inventory level at all locations.Work with depots and vendors to manage inventory levels.Analyze and update sales reports on a regular basis.Plan and forecasts required products to reflect advertising initiatives, market trends and peak selling periods.May forecast all designated SKUs.Ability to foresee market trends and changes to make effective decisions.Vendor Relations 10% Management of market development funds, (e.g.

co-op, V.R.

coupons).Purchasing of product/service for a category through the negotiation process.Work with vendors on promotional planning and forecasting.

Projects 45% Offer input and ideas to further develop the Technical Services Program.Active involvement in improving the order process to make it more efficient.Ability to cope with several projects/activities at a time.Participate in projects as needed.Work collectively with members of the advertising and marketing department on merchandising/advertising issues.Participate in special events such as Symposiums, the Canadian and Global Conference and trade shows.Develop efficiencies to drive the profitability of the program.To work with various home office departments in the execution of programs.Maintain services within internal company portalAdvertising and Visual Merchandising and Website 20% Work collectively with members of the advertising, marketing and web operations department on all marketing/advertising material. Work with vendors and internal associates to develop effective displays and signage, to enhance our customer shopping experience.Plan weekly flyers for your service/product categories, proof the ads, make corrections where necessary and ensure pricing accuracy in all advertising vehicles.Plan website promotional vehicles including banners, and promo pages as examples.Plan website layout and taxonomy to improve customer shopping experience.

Communication 30% Provide guidance and motivate all associates through effective orientation and training.Able to manage a high volume of email with follow up on inquiries within company guidelines.Ensure technicians receive the information they need with respect to new, changed, or discontinued parts and or vendors. Updating In house order system with the detailed notes of the status of each order. Ensure that stores and other departments receive the information they need with respect to new, changed, or discontinued service programs.Establish regular and effective communication with stores, FC and home office departments.Work closely with the ESP Warranty Centre and Tech Managers to enhance our customers service experience.Work with Customer Service and Legal to minimize customer service issues.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS Previous experience with Retail/service required.Computer literate, skilled in Excel, Word, Outlook and Access, preferable.Basic understanding of financial forms to ensure those effective-purchasing practices is in place within set budgets and guidelines.Analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS Office Environment RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS Experience: 3 years previous retail management experience required.

Education: University Degree/College Diploma Post secondary diploma with a focus on customer service !*!
