The Safety & Yard Trainer Flatbed is also responsible for conducting pre-hire road tests for drivers that would like to be employed by Challenger.

Key Accountabilities:Completing pre-hire road evaluations for Flatbed driversCompleting post-accident road evaluations for Flatbed driversFacilitating in-cab on road training for Flatbed driversFacilitating in-yard training for Flatbed driversLeading driver orientation and defensive driving classroom trainingParticipating in Job Fairs, Trade Shows and visiting Truck Schools to recruit professional driversProvides coaching to drivers in various situations to improve their skillsCompletes daily reports on the driver’s performance and provide constructive feedback on how to improve their performancePerforms other duties as requiredWhat You Need To Be Successful In This Role:Secondary school diplomaPrior work experience in the transportation industryPrior Flatbed driving experience a strong assetAZ Driver’s LicenseMinimum 2-3 years prior related driving experience requiredAir brake and defensive driving trainingDependableIndependentCooperativeShows integrityAdaptable and flexibleDemonstrated concern for othersA continuous improvement focus on workWell-organized, enthusiastic, professional and a positive team memberHow To Apply:If you are looking to join a premier transportation company, and become an integral part of results oriented team who constantly challenge themselves to Go The Distance for our customers and for each other, the role of Safety & Yard Trainer Flatbed may be right for you.No phone calls, please.
