Executive Assistant – Operations


This is a Contract position in Innisfil, ON posted July 10, 2024.

Are you an experienced Administrative Professional, currently between jobs and seeking employment within the Simcoe County region?  We are seeking an individual with exceptional administrative support skills.  You’ll partner your experience with a reputable, sought-after employer in the Barrie area, to fulfill a 1+ month contract.


  • $28.68/hour
  • 7:00am – 3:30pm (Mon – Fri)
  • 1 month contract (possibility of extension)
  • South Simcoe region

What the role is:

  • Maintain data bases, coordinate meetings, meeting rooms & appointments, prepare reports & correspondence
  • Manage copy, fax, courier, mail requests
  • Telephone reception, customer service, receive & respond to internal requests, liaise with other departments
  • Taking & preparation of minutes
  • Track inventory & office supplies, update maintenance records & work orders
  • Prepare & process purchase orders and invoices
  • Drafting of correspondence, data entry,
  • Create, run and distribute standard and customized reports
  • Other support duties as needed

What you bring to the role:

  • Post Secondary completion (Certificate, Diploma or Degree) ie: Business, Administrative, Legal, Medical or similar (asset)
  • Minimum 3 years administrative senior administrative experience (preference with public sector employer)
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with preparing & distributing minutes
  • Some accounting knowledge (invoicing, purchase orders, AP/AR etc)
  • Demonstrated records/data management skills (electronic and paper)
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize a full workload with conflicting priorities and shifting deadlines
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written)
  • Customer service focused; able to tactfully & professionally deal with mangers, peers and members of public
