POSITION OVERVIEWAs a member of the BDC’s HCM team, the Functional Analyst is responsible for the maintenance and configuration of the Workday HCM system.

You will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in various Human Resource functional areas to define, design and implement/enhance existing business processes while leveraging the technological capabilities of Workday and maximizing opportunities for increased efficiency.

CHALLENGES TO BE METAct as functional analyst providing recommendations regarding system capabilities to SMEs, HR Business Process Owners and other stakeholdersConfigure business processes and security for functional areas within the Workday systemConduct unit testing and provide production support on an ongoing basisAct as a point of contact between other functional departments within HR and IT to gather requirements for configuration and prioritization of new system change requestsProvide specifications to IT for the development or modification of internal or external systems integration with 3rd party vendors Leverage Workday functionality by reviewing system releases/upgrades and consulting with SMEs and HR process owners in order to identify value added features to be implementedDevelop Workday solutions to address business requirementsDevelop documentation to support change requests Proactively promote adoption of Workday functionality to increase efficiencies and to provide value add system functionality to end usersRespond to audit requests as needed, ensuring all configuration updates follow proper procedures and workflow in order to comply with audit requirements WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORAt least 3 years of experience as a functional analyst and a minimum of 2 years of experience with WorkdayBachelor’s degree in IT, HR, or a related fieldKnowledge of HR business processesAbility to map and communicate complex analysis and to implement themDemonstrated critical thinking and analytic skills; ability to organize and represent concepts in presentationsBilingual communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to set priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent sense of organization and collaborationFocused on quality and customer serviceAble to handle confidential informationEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERAt BDC, we value diversity in our workforce and encourage all qualified candidates to apply.
