Arup rpond ces nouveaux enjeux en runissant des quipes multidisciplinaires ouvertes d’esprit, en investissant dans la recherche, en innovant et en proposant des solutions efficaces et suprieures ses clients et au grand public.Nous sommes la recherche d’un Ingnieur Gotechnique avec une bonne connaissance de la mcanique des sols pour fournir des services d’ingnierie ses clients sur des projets de conception et de construction.Responsabilits:Diriger des projets de conception d’interactions sol-structure de petite moyenne envergure,Spcification des tudes gotechniques et des donnes de laboratoireInterprter les rsultats des essais sur le terrain et en laboratoire partir de l’investigation au sol des fins de conception ainsi que l’interprtation et la prparation des rapports gotechniques de base et / ou d’interprtation (GBR / GIR).Effectuer la conception et l’analyse en utilisant divers logiciels d’ingnierie standard de l’industrie pour les structures souterraines, les excavations, les fondations, les analyses de rponse au site sismique, les pentes, et etc.Effectuer l’analyse l’interaction de la structure du sol (ISS) l’aide d’un logiciel en lments finis disponible dans le commerceRaliser la conception sismique des structures souterraines conformment aux codes et normes pertinents au Canada et aux tats-Unis.Exprience de supervision de sites pour des projets d’infrastructure et de construction.Interagir avec des ingnieurs de diverses disciplines et collaborer la conception de fondations de btiments, de fondations de ponts, de tunnels, etc.Prparer des rapports de conception, des calculs de conception, des dessins et des spcificationsAider avec les tches administratives ou le soutien de la gestion tel qu’attribu par le chef d’quipeQualifications:Baccalaurat en gnie civil, minire, ou gologique.

Master en gnie gotechnique est prfrable.OIQ au Quebec ou PEng au Canada.

Arup is rising to these new challenges: by bringing together broad-minded individuals from a wide range of disciplines, investing in research, innovating and creating better solutions for clients and the wider world.We’re looking for a Geotechnical Engineer with good theoretical and practical knowledge of Soil Mechanics to provide engineering services on design and construction projects.Responsibilities:Lead small to medium size soil-structure interaction design projects.Specifying geotechnical investigations and laboratory dataInterpreting field and laboratory test result from ground investigation for design purposes as well as interpretation and preparation of Geotechnical Baseline and/or Interpretive reports (GBRs/ GIRs).Perform design and analysis using various industry standard engineering software for underground structures, excavations, foundations, seismic site response analyses, slopes, etcCarrying out soil-structure interaction (SSI) analysis using commercially available finite element softwareCarrying out seismic design of underground structures in accordance with relevant Codes and Standards in Canada and the United States.Site supervision for infrastructure and building projectsInteracting with engineers from various disciplines and collaborating in the design of building foundations, bridge foundations, tunnels etc.Preparing design reports, design calculations, drawings and specificationsAssist with administrative duties or management support as assigned by group leaderQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in in Civil, Mining or Geological Engineering.

Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering is highly preferable.P.Eng in Canada.

Additional PE and/or CEng is advantageous.Minimum 5 years of geotechnical design experience with proven record of delivering project plans, analyses, design and preparation of deliverables for infrastructure and building projectsStrong knowledge in structural or soil/rock-structure interaction designExperience in management and coordination of small design teamsExperience in supervising site works and performing site design changesExperience in financial management of projectsBi-lingual (English and French)Experience in off shore or marine geotechnical design and some experience in tunnel or cavern design, in soft or hard ground, is advantageous.Qualities:Highly innovative and creative in developing technically strong solutions.Strong focus on high quality deliverables, deadlines and budgets.Comfortable balancing multiple roles and responsibilities in high stress situations.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, regulators, and staff.Ability to communicate and coordinate work within an integrated multidisciplinary team.Share your passion and experience in a global culture that believes your potential to achieve is endless.Benefits that WorkAt Arup, we have a comprehensive and valuable benefits program that works for our employees and their families while keeping costs low.
