As our newest Life Insurance Advisor, you’ll have this opportunity.

Insurance Advisor (Life): Your primary goal in this position is to sell our life insurance and investment solutions to your clients.

We’ll provide you with some warm leads to start (and you can bring your own book of business with you too), which you’ll use for outbound prospecting and cold calling potential clients.

Practically speaking, you will: Service the life insurance and investment management portfolios of our agency through prospecting for outbound sales efforts (e.g., B2B and B2C sales efforts) Organize meetings with clients to listen to their needs, assess their situations, and recommend appropriate life and investment solutions, including cross-selling all lines of business Investigate client questions or concerns, and resolve or escalate any related issues Complete home inspections, front-line risk assessments and selections, and follow underwriting guidelines as necessary Participate in the development of marketing plans and strategic activities to expand our portfolios You won’t be pressured to sell products that clients don’t need or want – a big reason why our team is so successful is because of our client-first mindset.

Aside from your sales experience and positive attitude you’ll succeed in this role if you are: A strong communicator – you can distill complex information in a way that’s understandable to anyone, both through written emails and verbal conversations.

Organized – you know how to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines, and you can multitask effectively without sacrificing accuracy.

A strong problem solver – Your resourcefulness and ability to see a problem from multiple perspectives allows you to find creative solutions.

Working with Manzer Insurance Services: This is a full-time permanent position working in our Waterdown office.

You’ll work standard business hours from Monday to Friday, from 9:00am-5:00pm, with flexibility after the training period to work outside of these hours as needed.

Qualifications: Experience in a client-facing sales position, or related business or marketing experience, preferably in the insurance industry Valid life insurance license (LLQP) or willingness to obtain Post-secondary education in business, commerce, marketing, or related Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) for document creation and management Knowledge of insurance products and strong underwriting skills is an asset Any other insurance licenses would be an asset (e.g., OTL or mutual funds license) How to Apply: Our online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume.
