Internal Controls and Compliance Analyst

You will work alongside business leaders to document and analyze internal controls, specifically those related to our IT systems as Skip prepares for a new control framework.

Skip is seeking an internal controls analyst with a CPA designation and experience documenting IT general controls (ITGCs) .

Reporting to the Manager of Internal Controls & Compliance.

What’s On Your Plate: Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) relating to public company control frameworks including SoX or COSO knowledge is an asset Developing and implementing IT controls related to financial systems Documentation of current ITGCs to prepare for SoX implementation Working with business and finance teams to establish controls through learning of processes Preparation and review of regulatory and compliance reporting to various government bodies Recipe for Success: Three years of previous experience in a public accounting firm combined with at least two years of relevant industry experience is required.

The analyst will be responsible for ensuring company compliance with regulatory and ethical standards and will work closely with Skip’s Legal department.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to collaborate with other departments and recommend control and process improvements.
