In this role, youll be the lead partner to key lines of businesses within the greater AAA marketing organization where youll help to drive the hands-on, end-to-end insights process to help us solve business problems.

This position is assigned to our Walnut Creek, CA headquarters offices, with recurring visits to our Berkeley, CA innovations offices also part of the job.

Essential Capabilities & Credentials Proven ability to strategically assess and tactically implement primary research projects, working with internal and external resources to conduct such programs, directly handling the interpretation of the data to glean insights and implications, formulating and producing the reports and presentation decks needed to socialize the results and recommendations.

Have hands-on experience in conducting a diverse set of qualitative and quantitative types of research, such as product concept tests, ad/campaign evaluation, usage and attitude testing, online interviewing, use of AI-driven online chat-bot surveying, etc.

Practiced expertise in all aspects of research design from research methodology, sample definition, and questionnaire development to Analysis and final report delivery/presentation.

Thorough understanding of advanced analyticaltechniques, including:Conjoint(discrete choice), Multivariate analysis, Cluster analysis, Max-diff, Gabor-Granger pricing techniques, etc.

Capability to review secondary, third-party published research reports and findings to determine the relevant trends andinsights/implicationsimpacting our AAA lines of business.

Seasoned day-to-day management of our research vendor relationships, exceptional day-to-day project management of the assigned workload, and effective internal and external communication and socialization skills.

A passion for market research that drives you to dig deeper for Member and consumer insights as to what our audiences want (products/services) and, even more importantly, why they desire them.

Skilled at being self-directed, using your initiative and get-the-job-done-right work ethic, needing just a modest amount of guidance from the Director Brand & Insights.

The Member Insights team environment is one that relies on cross-collaboration with the Team Members and lead stakeholders within the greater AAA Marketing organization.

Experience & Education Requirements Minimum of 5 years’ direct, hands-on experience handling qualitative, quantitative, and voice-of-consumer market research and customer insights programs/projects; this relevant experience can be on the client, agency, or vendor side; direct experience working with Qualtrics and/or another experience management tool is a plus.

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (Marketing; Market Research; Business Communications) is required.
