What You’ll Do Reporting to the Account Manager, you will be the expert in coordinating the various activities related to the delivery process of explosive products, services, and resource planning necessary to carry out required activities at job sites in respect to costs and timelines previously established with clients.

Other duties will include: Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety.

(Ensure SAO, JSA, Take 5’s, stretching, and all safety rules are being completed.) Ensure compliance with applicable Company HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations.

Live and foster IPL Corporate Values.

Supports BEx initiatives and ensures participation from all areas of responsibility Ensure that all company and regulatory HSE requirements are followed and that expectations are well communicated, holding everyone respectively accountable.

Attend regular safety meetings.

Tactically coordinate priorities and operational elements with team leaders and sales partners.

Present opportunities, operational analysis, and priorities with sales, finance and management stakeholders.

Host regular safety initiatives review meetings with supervisors.

Host regular performance review meetings with supervisors.

Ensure that tasks are distributed to teams based on delivery requirements while respecting the financial framework.

Optimize resources and assignments to control costs and delivery times for each area with respect to the negotiated parameters with each client.

Maintain performance dashboards.

Communicate priorities and issues to all employees and stakeholders.

Ensure the understanding and proper use of all processes according to established standards.

Maintain a complete asset list and ensure they are well cared for.

Show leadership and maintain discipline while keeping a high level of service.

Make sure that your internal customers are well supported and are regularly challenged on their performance level with respect to all corporate and regulatory requirements.

Assist with various government or internal regulatory audits, NRCAN, IPL, QPF, CNESST, etc.

Coordinate training programs for blasters and operators.

Ensure that all non-contractual products and services are kept on record and invoiced accordingly.

Communicate record to the sales team.

What We’re Looking For College or University degree in a relevant field.

Experience: 2 years’ experience in similar industrial environment.

Relevant experience in planning and coordination.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Have strong organizational skills and prioritization skills.

Have good negotiation and communication skills.

Be proactive.

Candidate must be able to travel regularly and occasionally for periods of up to a few days.
