And we’re chasing it with all we’ve got! The Role As our new Proposal Writer you’ll play a key role in helping us win new business, setting the company up for continued success.   There are many qualities that will help you succeed in this role, but the MOST IMPORTANT is being able to craft effective proposals by translating sales opportunities, strategy, and analysis into a clearly articulated narrative. Your great writing skills will help us grow the business by winning new accounts, as well as continued business from long-time partners.   We also want someone who is a critical thinker and has an aptitude for strategic vision. And on days where you need to really dig in to your work, distraction-free, you’ll have the opportunity to do so remotely. What are we looking for?  We’re looking for someone who shares our sense of purpose and has these qualifications:  * A diploma/degree in business, marketing, communications, or humanities * Experience writing/preparing business or grant proposals * Professional writing experience, ex. copywriting, marketing, contracts or web content* Any experience in sales or marketing * Any experience preparing/reviewing legal contracts is an asset * Advanced proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel   The target salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 commensurate with experience, and the compensation package includes group benefits, gym discounts and RSP matching after a period of service. How to Apply Our online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume.
