Recovery associate (contract)

If you are looking to be part of something big, then come join our local family we want to hear from you!About the role:Reporting to the Supervisor, Claims, the Recovery Associate ensures that all possible forms of reimbursement owed to the company are achieved.

The successful candidate will be responsible for researching opportunities to recoup funds on paid claims to maximize revenue for Allianz.You are great at:Reviewing insurance claims for financial recovery, and contacting customers to obtain required informationPreparing and submitting packages for financial recovery for each recovery type and provinceReceiving cheques from all recovery sources and applying payments to cases and invoicesEnsuring funds are balanced appropriately and allocated to the correct claims management system, and working with Finance to successfully allocate fundsCommunicating with internal departments, customers, government offices and other insurance companies, ensuring all correspondence is clear and professionalWhat it takes:One to three years’ experience in an Accounts Receivable positionEducation or experience in accounting would be considered an assetExperience in a junior claims or administrative role ideally in the insurance industry is preferredSuperb data entry and problem solving skillsAbility to pay close attention to detail and multi-taskExcellent communication skillsWhat we offer you:The opportunity to build a long-term and successful career for yourself in the insurance industryA competitive salary which includes a number of specialty premiums reflecting the work you doA Referral Program that rewards you for referring your qualified friends and familyEmployee discounts at a wide variety of retailers and servicesThe opportunity to grow with a large, global organizationAll successful candidates must be able to pass an Enhanced Reliability Check performed by the Government of Canada.At Allianz, we understand and value diversity in our employees and are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
