Job Description REF 007 ADGA is hiring a full-time Senior Satellite Communication Systems Advisor with over 10 years of experience working with Satellite Communications systems.

As a SeniorSenior Satellite Communication Systems Advisor you would be expected to perform the following tasks: Review, analyze and provide recommendations on space system interface documentation; Compose operational space system deficiency and requirements documentation; Produce and present concise monthly reports in summary of all technical progress at thestakeholder and vendor/contractor level; and Provide technical input to project plans: Plans (including test and integration) and drawings; and Schedules.

Review, analyze, and provide recommendation on space system engineering documents,including Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs), Review Item Discrepancies (RIDs), plans,standards, specifications, and related data, to assess their adequacy and suitability; Develop test plans for prototypes and full tests; Create SOWs related to subjects such as Space, satellite communications, telecommunications,etc.; Review, analyze, and provide technical input to SOWs related to subjects such as Space, satellitecommunications, telecommunications, etc.; Provide input to the full life-cycle cost of the proposed Space System; Recommend satellite communications level solutions based on an analysis of discrepancies,deficiencies and changes to equipment and specifications; Liaise with DND and stakeholder engineering groups to ensure space system integrity, performance, reliability, and maintainability; Provide space system integration and analysis services; Review, analyze, and provide recommendations relating to satellite communications, andassociated documentation; Conduct design, technical, and management reviews of designs and documents such asschedules, test plans, and programmatic plans delivered to DND to monitor, advise, and report onprogress and potential problems ; Conduct or oversee space system integration testing and evaluation; Manage system test and evaluation plans and present the results to the TA; Analyze space system deficiencies and recommend effective solutions; Review, analyze and provide recommendations on the suitability of industry documentation; Conduct technical definition studies and options analyses of potential scope and plans for space systems.

Qualifications TheSenior Satellite Communication Systems Advisormust meet the following mandatory requirements: Education
– TheSenior Satellite Communication Systems Advisor must have one of the following: An Engineering or Science degree from a recognized Canadian University; or anon-Canadian Engineering or Science degree that must be accredited by one of the following institutions: Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials (CICIC); World Education Services (WES); orUniversity of Toronto Comparative Education Services.

A diploma or certificate, minimum two years from a recognized college in an Information Management / Information Technology (IM/IT) field; Or Licensed as a Professional Engineer by any Professional Engineering self-regulatory bodies within the provinces of Canada.

TheSenior Satellite Communication Systems Advisormust have a minimum of ten years of experience within the last twenty years as a Satellite Communication Specialist.

TheSenior Satellite Communication Systems Advisormust have a minimum offive years of experience within the last ten years writing Project Technical Documentation (e.g.

Statement of Work, Statement of Requirements, technical specifications) for Satellite Communications projects valued at $5M or more.

TheSenior Satellite Communication Systems Advisormust have a minimum offive years of experience within the last ten years working in project management in at least two of the following: Procurement; Approvals; Construction; Contract administration.

TheSenior Satellite Communication Systems Advisormust have a minimum offive years of experience within the last ten years integrating and testing spacecraft communications at the subsystem component level and the overall system level.
