The opportunity Reporting to the Director, Platform Services, we are adding a Cloud Engineer to our team.

This is an opportunity to play a critical role in developing and deploying custom DevOps tool chains onto the platform that enables our enterprise customers to innovate and accelerate on the cloud.

Who you are You are Cloud Engineer with hands-on knowledge of AWS, Azure, Jenkins and Atlassian.

Testing solutions with the intent that they are QA certified to hand to a customer for acceptance testing.

Ensuring all work is documented in the appropriate tool so that any of the engineering team can pick up the work by referencing the documents.

You want to deliver high-quality experiences for customers on our platform.

You will explore and test options in the clients sandbox to quickly confirm the feasibility of a solution.

You will collaborate with management and peers, to inform customers and educate them on the solutions being delivered.

Growth.

You want to apply and expand your technical expertise including professional certification in AWS and / or Azure.

If you had Atlassian or Jenkins that would be a bonus.

You want to focus on: Continuous Improvement: Ensuring all engineering materials are continuously improved and delivered with consistency so that the Managed Services organization can effectively and efficiently manage and maintain the deployment.

Continuous Learning: Keeping up to date with cutting edge technologies impacting the solutions being deployed as well as learning new ways of delivering similar solutions.

Your day-to-day.

You will: Design and Develop.

Plan, design and development of automation to deliver 3rd Party DevOps tool on the iTMethods Devops SaaS platform (DSP) Onboard.

Fulfill the role of Solutions Architect by onboarding clients to the DSP and ensuring resilient and scalable solutions are delivered Collaborate.

Partner with the client project team to identify and communicate interdependencies between the iTMethods DSP and the Client Environment Lead.

Provide technical leadership both inside out organization and to our clients.

Better our processes by continually looking to automate and improve DSP resiliency.

The certifications.

You are a certified AWS Associate and AWS Professional.

The expertise.

You have hands-on knowledge of and experience with: AWS (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Route 53, KMS, EFS, ElastiCache, CloudFront, CloudFormation) Configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining common services NFS, DNS, SMTP, DHCP, NTP, web servers (Apache, Nginx), proxy (HAProxy), MySQL, PostgreSQL Infrastructure as Code (Iac): Ansible (most important), Terraform, CloudFormation or other tools CI/CD: Understand typical architecture of applications.

Can create CI/CD Pipeline in Jenkins, GitLab or alternatives.

The experience with Containers Docker, Kubernetes or Mesos/Marathon, Database administration skills for MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Monitoring: DataDog, CloudCheckr, Skeddly, Opsgenie, and Linux with scripting (Shell, Python) is an asset.
