Underwriting Assistant

What’s the Job?

Location: Markham(Training), then 3 days remote, 2 days in the office

Shift: 37.5 hours per week (8-4, 8:30-4:30, or 9-5, Monday to Friday)

Pay Rate: $20.44 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Underwriting Assistant for a high-profile project requiring a dedicated team to learn client’s new system and work flexible hours if needed.

Responsibilities:

• Data entry in Guidewire (Policy Information)
• General office work as needed
• Insurance experience is a plus but not required

Requirements:

• Adaptability to change and effective performance under pressure
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• General knowledge of Excel
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
