Military Family Services manages the Military Family Services Program to help military families manage the demands of family life, work and operational needs. Many stakeholders and partners work together and contribute to the well-being of military families.
THE ROLE
The MFS Program Specialist will assist families with relocation and settlement into their new location, plan, organize and delivery of intake and front-line support, as well as assess client needs, provide emotional support, information and assistance, as required.
The MFS Program Specialist will provide immediate crisis intervention and secure support, as required, act as a community service Subject Matter Expert (SME) for families with intricate needs, working in collaboration with the CAF, local community agencies and external partnership agencies to ensure families receive the required supports, as well as research and provide professional referrals to CAF members and families.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Mental Health, Human Services, or a related field, AND some years of experience in direct community service delivery.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English essential, Bilingual an asset.
