Account Executive – Health and Wellness Software

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted November 30, 2017.

Our client is one of the most disruptive companies in North America! Through a unique, SaaS-based solution and mobile app, they have been responsible for bringing much-needed innovation to the stagnant healthcare industry. Imagine if everyone had frictionless, flexible and customizable access to his or her benefits to proactively manage their personalized health goals – Our client enables employers to provide their employees with spending accounts, group insurance plans, and workplace health services, all delivered through a mobile app.

With over $30M in funding and investors that include RBC, Manulife, and Omers, our client is in high growth mode and looking to add new faces to their Account Executive team in Chicago.  

The Role:

  • Working out of the incredible Downtown Chicago office 
  • Consultative selling of a disruptive software solution
  • Responsible for the full-sales cycle;  prospecting business, creating a solution, negotiating, closing, relationship management 
  • Selling to Small-Medium Businesses across the U.S. in various industries
  • Conducting demonstrations in a client-facing environment or via WebEx
  • Collaborating with and following up on leads provided by the Business Development Rep. team
  • Attending industry related networking/tradeshow events

About You:

  • An advocate; you have passion for health, wellness and driving innovation
  • A salesperson; who loves the process of selling and wants to build a foundation for a career in sales
  • Must have high technical aptitude
  • A person of high integrity; you want to get things done while also doing it the right way with a customer-first attitude
  • A team player; you understand that sales is a team sport and, in order to build something special, we need to make each other better
  • Detail oriented; you’re busy and overbooked, but you manage to do it all, with a smile on your face, and success in the end

Experience required?

  • 3+ years of experience in a quota-carrying, technical sales role
  • A history of excellence – when you commit to something, you do it well
  • Overcome obstacles and challenges with positivity and determination
  • Leveraged tools and technology to sell strategically and efficiently
  • Knowledge and ability to effectively use CRM 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
