This role requires a driven, career oriented individual with strong business development & sales experience.

The ideal individual would be excited by the challenge that this industry faces as it transitions from an ink on paper manufacturing model to a multi service, multi channel, customer focused marketing and communication solutions model. Responsibilities:Responsible for the sales of the print & marketing execution services offered by Ampersand.Responsible for all sales & business development activities, from lead generation through close in an assigned territory.Sells consultatively by understanding the prospects or clients challenges and applying the right combination of Ampersands products and services to solve those challenges. Demonstrates the ability to gather, submit detailed business information for pricing, and presentation of solutions to identified prospects’ business problems.Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify prospects business problems, the effects of the problems, and how Ampersand’s products and services can solve their problems.Able to demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above that allows Sales Associate to give effective presentation of Ampersand’s products and services.Maintains accurate records in Ampersand’s Pace CRM system of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory in order to maximize territory potential.Develops annual business plan in conjunction with the sales team and management to define goals and actions/steps required to achieve those goals.Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers.Develops a database of qualified leads using Ampersand’s Pace CRM system through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking.Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, marketing etc…Recommends changes in products, service and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, assessing possible solutions and making recommendations to management.Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects and company employees.Desired Skills & ExperienceUniversity degree and/or College diploma4-6 years of sales experienceExperience in the Graphic Arts industry a bonusExperience in the Digital, Litho and/or Wide Format Printing IndustryExperience selling online print procurement portals Experience in with mailing & fulfillment Detail oriented with very strong organizational skillsStrong computer skills PC, business software and internet use with knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, etc.)Ability to work independently and strategically, with minimum supervision and to self-manage work time and prioritiesCapacity to effectively multi-taskAbility to develop interpersonal relationshipsFluent in English with clear enunciation, ability to read and write business EnglishMust have a late model, reliable vehicle
