Business Development Manager

Exciting opportunity to join a growth organization that is transforming to deliverer new products, services and channels. Based in Toronto with clients in Atlantic, this hybrid role requires an inside sales professional with the ability to develop business in the field.    As an active member of the Business Development team, the incumbent will source and develop new and existing partnerships with Financial Advisors to sell B2B Bank solutions. This includes supporting and executing on various sales activities, sales campaigns and Business Development and/or Marketing driven initiatives to build sales momentum and contribute to the maximization of gross sales. To be successful in the role, the incumbent must be well-versed in all products and services offered by B2B Bank, including Investment, RSP and TFSA Loans, Banking Services, Deposits, Investment Accounts and other banking products. As a hybrid sales role, the primary activities being phone-driven combined with an in-market presence as necessary to ensure meeting or exceeding assigned targets. Approximately 30-40% travel will be necessary, primarily within Canada.Sales: Conduct market analysis to identify and develop business opportunities for targeted clients in order to increase sales volume Proactively promote B2B Bank products and programs to existing and prospective Financial Advisors in order to meet sales objectives Prospect clients to provide both product and value added programs, and assist them in selecting B2B Bank products and services that will meet their business needs Effectively build and manage a sales pipeline Achieve sales, asset growth, activity and prospecting goals and targets as assigned. Identify opportunities and cross-sell to existing customer base Develop and submit a monthly sales strategy plan to achieve sales objectives. Build relationships with targeted intermediaries Prepares, coordinates and delivers presentations, webinars, conference calls, etc. for client meetings, groups and conferences Work as part of a team in support of sales and marketing activities including, trade shows, conferences, marketing campaigns/promotions and client presentations Client Service: Respond to client inquiries promptly and provide a high level of service Develop and leverage business relationships with organizations and associations Provides feedback to contribute to the development of new products and services and ongoing initiatives Liaise with various internal departments for problem resolution, including escalations, and enhance overall customer experience B2B Bank products and policies: Develop in-depth knowledge of all B2B Bank products and programs Remain current on the various legislation, procedures, standards and policies related to the products and services offered by B2B Bank Daily tracking, updates and logging of sales activities on B2B Bank CRM system Executes general tasks at the request of his/her superior or that may be required by his/her functionMinimum 2 years of related sales and/or customer service experience within the financial services industry. Proven sales capabilities and ability to prospect new clients.
