National Technical Sales Manager

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted May 3, 2022.

Do you have a passion for sales, developing and fostering new relationships and strengthening existing ones? Do you find satisfaction in closing new deals, establishing organic sales growth through effective communication and collaboration? Are you a road warrior, product champion, and a person who values green and environmentally sound methods? Do you have at least 5-7 years of strong sales background?

Our client is a leader in the cleaning and disinfectant industry, and one that has pursued in creating a product that is green, clean, and environmentally friendly. Our client is renown worldwide with patents in many countries and many registrations including Environmental Protection Agency, Health Canada. Its products are 100% Canadian and hospital grade!

With its head office in Quebec, our client is looking for a talented Sales Manager in the Greater Toronto Area who is flexible to fly anywhere in the country to close a deal. We are looking for someone who does not shy from rolling up their sleeves, who can champion the company’s purpose in supplying the public and many businesses with such an amazing product.

Your main tasks:

  • Identify and select out new business.
  • Penetrate existing business and help fuel organic growth.
  • Target large commercial retailers and discuss products by using the business language of retail.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on sales pipelines and provide estimated time of closing potential accounts.
  • Promote market products nationwide and leverage the Canadian identity and branding of the product.
  • Work closely with major distributors and vendors.
  • Be confident and comfortable to prepare pitches and presentations to sales prospects from conglomerate size all the way to the “mom and pop” shops.
  • Carry out any other similar tasks.

  • Sound knowledge of the industry including working knowledge of connecting with big box retailers.

  • Ability to meet deadlines, effective communication, and negotiation skills.
