Our client, Market Recon, is Canada’s premier shopper marketing and education company.

They help brands convert and build loyal consumers during the in-store purchase process.

They are currently recruiting for an outgoing individual to join one of their high-profile clients, Dr.

Oetker, as a Territory Sales & Marketing Representative for the Gatineau area.The Territory Sales & Merchandising Representative will work and live in their assigned area (or close by).

Your role will be 70% merchandising and 30% sales.

We anticipate the Territory Sales & Merchandising Representative to be 90% working within your assigned territory and 10% from your home office.Responsibilities:Responsible for managing and executing marketing/sales strategy in a specific territory of grocery and retail locations on a daily basisAccountable for communicating and supporting account promotions; including building displays, upselling orders and ensuring account and marketing programs are executeEnsure operational excellence through management of call cycle, frequency, coverage, and time in callDeliver weekly program objectives from preparation, to in field execution and handheld reportingPresent, promote and sell in innovation products and brand awareness programs (i.e.

campaigns, demo programs)Build brand presence through interactions with department managers and decision makersMeet weekly, monthly and quarterly sales program quotas (display, items in display, distribution, upselling)Train stores on the goals and objectives of the retail programMaintain strong relationships with store personnelCreate a positive and engaging experience between the consumer and brandSkills & Experience:1 year sales experience in retail industry, B2B or B2CFluent in English and French, written and verbalMerchandising and Auditing experience is an assetExperience dealing with key Canadian Grocery and Retailers an assetAbility to be adaptable and work independently with minimal supervisionWell organized, have the ability to take chargeExcellent communication skills, written and verbalIntermediate computer skills and knowledge of MS Office applicationsImportant information & BenefitsWorking Schedule: Full Time Monday through FridayVery competitive compensation including; cell and car allowance & sales bonus!Available to travel within the assigned marketMust have a valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstractFull background check is a requiredThank you for applying on this career opportunity.
