Assistant Site Superintendent – Rough-in

The Assistant Site Superintendent will be responsible for:* Scheduling and coordination of trades across various scopes including framing, M&E, drywall and priming* Collaborate with project team to identify and address issues* Working with the Superintendent on wider project scheduling, deliveries and budget activities* Addressing deficiencies post-inspection * Ensuring that highest levels of quality and H&S are upheld at all times* Supporting with award of permits MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual’s status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled and all other qualified applicantsThe successful Assistant Site Superintendent (Rough-in) will demonstrate:* Previous experience working within the GTA High Rise Construction market through a minimum of 2 finishing cycles* Excellent communication and coordination skills* A Degree/Diploma in a relevant construction discipline is preferred * Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a wider teamOne of the GTAs leading Developer-Builders within the High Rise market who have successfully delivered over 20,000 premium units with a significant pipeline of projects in development as well. As they reach the next stage of their latest high rise project in the West-End of Toronto, they are looking to recruit an Assistant Superintendent with responsibility for the rough-in scope of the project.A salary of c.$110,000 (DOE) in addition to a comprehensive benefits and bonus plan.
