Through our skill, dedication and commitment toquality we are the largest solar installer east of Toronto.Overview of the RoleThe New Business Development position will be primarily responsible to providing sales and marketingservices to residential and commercial customers, for the sale and installation of solar electric systems.You will be responsible for short-term and long-term sales and marketing programs, while alsoparticipating directly in sales.The main functions of this role are:1.

Promote the Mission and Values of iSolara – Becoming well-versed in solar design, marketingand process.

Support the team of sales consultants.

Participate in trade shows.2.

Customer Sales – Qualify potential customers, and assess project sizes and costs, though usingiSolara software tools.

Provide sales and marketing materials in a timely manner.

Manage salesprocess through final sign-off.3.

Sales Planning – Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans and forecasts toachieve objectives for sales and services.This position will be directly supported by the Management Team during a probationary period.

Thisrole will continuously support the Sales team.Typical FunctionsOther important functions of this role are: Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities Develop product positioning and pricing strategy to allow for increased long-term market sharegrowth Monitoring competitor products and activities Maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners Establish and maintain a clear marketing/branding image Networking to establish new clients Participate in RFP responses to ensure timely delivery of winning bids Increase the visibility and stature of iSolara Determine strategies to ensure competitive edge Monitor industry developments and identify possible new market segments Create marketing campaigns and include budgeting and expenditure spending Develop a process to gather continuous feedback from clientsThe ideal candidate should aspire to be a knowledgeable resource, that potential customers can relyupon for proper information and detail.

You will coordinate with other consultants and contractors.
