(CAN) Manager, Digital Marketing – Social, Display and Remarketing

This is a Contract position in Sault Ste Marie, ON posted February 21, 2021.

Position Summary As the Digital Performance Marketing Manager for Social, Display, and Remarketing, you are responsible for driving the overall customer growth through new channel innovation and current channel optimization of our Paid Social, Digital Display, and Remarketing efforts.

You will help to drive strategy KPIs for these channels, provide recommendations for support of always on and seasonal campaigns, as well as oversee campaign execution across agency partners, while managing spend distribution and focus of these channels.

Reporting into the Lead of Digital Performance Marketing, you will be using our customer data and insights to drive a targeted approach to acquisition and to help improve overall ROI of all Walmart Canada campaigns.

What you’ll do Take a strategic approach to leading and optimizing social and remarketing channels, from awareness through to conversion, to meet CPA, ROI, and budget goals.

Manage and efficiently scale brand awareness and customer acquisition campaigns across Google, Facebook, Instagram and other media partners.

Comfortable operating across both strict direct-response and awareness KPIs, actively investigate and identify high potential opportunities to test and incorporate into channel strategy (e.g., audience / creative / landing page
– optimization) Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to develop marketing and communications plans that leverage the social media, display, and remarketing spaces.

Strategize, direct, and coordinate channel media creative, working closely with the Customer Marketing and Creative and Brand teams, for paid components of always-on, seasonal campaigns and other marketing initiatives.

Build relationships with agency and media partners (including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) in order to keep abreast of current algorithms and functionality.

Works in concert with internal resources and agency partners to perform big management and optimization.

Leads on innovation and market first opportunities both internally as it translates to strategy and training, and externally through ongoing business partnerships.

Leverage measurement and attribution tools to provide progress reports and insights and steer investment, while continually finding ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives.
