(CAN) Senior Manager, Omni Innovation

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted March 24, 2021.

Position Summary The Senior Manager Omni Innovation leads strategy and integration of new Omni programs and technology for Walmart.ca and stores.

The senior manager is accountable for driving projects to completion on time and on budget.

Works as a subject matter expert to facilitate solution design and implementation of new facets of Omni programs in stores to improve operational efficiency.

Develop business case to prove out case for investment in solutions to show business value through GMV growth and LCOM improvement.

Works cross functionally across the business with Technology and with 3rd party partners to ensure common alignment to strategy, goals, timelines and budgets.

Develops processes and ensures legal, compliance and financial scrutiny across the organization.

What you’ll do 1.

Lead the strategy and execution of Omni Innovation projects Walmart.ca and stores.

Works with Project Management, Implementation and Technology teams to drive project objectives.

2.

Acts as a subject matter expert on the program area.

Ensure that overall solution is leveraging best practices seen in the industry today and across International Walmart teams.

3.

Build th e strategy for Omni network optimization, including delivery partners and in store operations, to drive customer experience and support growth GP.

4.

Lead the strategy of Hybrid operational initiatives including full automation projects with both internal and external partners ensuring seamless experiences for both associates and customers delivering agreed success measures.

5.

Responsible in driving the performance of the innovation projects and with 3rd party partners to ensure common alignment to strategy, goals, timelines and budgets.

6.

Reports on projects to senior leadership, measures business against WIGS, lead and lag measurements.

Call out roadblocks and identifies solutions to correct path of program (if needed).

7.

Acts as an advocate for digital/Omnichannel leverage across the organization.

Works with teams to ensure they have the knowledge to move their business / program forward.

8.

Develop the tactical plans for roll out plans of innovation projects in co-ordination with PM’s while ensuring ongoing success, work with senior team to highlight potential changes that drive incremental value or a better experience for the consumer.
