Division Specific Information: As a part of the Instrument and Enterprise Services (IES) | Unity Laboratory Services (ULS) team, you’ll lead, empower, and encourage a community of service representatives who have strong customer relationships and immense knowledge of customer service within our Research Safety Division (RSD) Canada.

Discover Impactful Work: In this role, you will support, supervise, and mentor and support to a team of Customer Care Service Representatives.

You will have strong administration skills and will perform various admin tasks as well as having a confirmed understanding of all the systems and processes within the department to support and mentor the team.

A Day in the Life: Responsible for staffing service team functions.

Ensures employees are cross functionally trained and adequate coverage is maintained at all times Provides ongoing training and supervision in order to develop and maintain a positive, cohesive, efficient and impactful team Accountable for performance management of assigned team members Works cohesively with Regional Service Managers and Supervisors to promote process improvement, seemless customer experiences and communication between teams.

Participates when required, in customer service duties and responsibilities (ie.

Taking service calls, processing work orders, dispatching)– provides back up phone/email support Ensure warehouse functions and parts inventory management are completed and up to date Helps resolve more complicated customer critical issues and keeps the management team aware and updated Partner with Service Managers to develop, schedule and coordinate training plan based on vendor course availability Work with Customer Service Manager to provide ongoing support to the team through problem and complaint resolution Keys to Success: Education: Bachelor’s degree or working experience considered in lieu of education Experience : 5 years confirmed experience within a customer service organization 2 years supervisory experience preferred Experienced in driving customer allegiance and growing existing customer base Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of inventory management and warehousing functions Strong business sense and operational excellence experience in customer-centric organization Proficient in team building and cohesiveness Excellent planning and execution skills with evidenced experience to get results, and the ability to build and use internal relationships Strong ability to perform and lead in a fast paced, changing environment with contending priorities Effective communicator (verbal, written and presentation), with extensive experience in influencing through a straight-forward style of communication Our Mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
