Director, Commercial Sales


This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted June 15, 2019.

PathFactory’s Content Insight and Activation Platform helps B2B marketers understand the role of content in the buyer’s journey and discover a new class of data to optimize the path to purchase.

PathFactory uses this data and insight to optimize content delivery across every channel, connecting buyers with the most relevant information whenever and wherever they click.

As the next PathFactory Commercial Sales Director, you will:
● Manage a team of high functioning Account Executives
● Experience ramping a team of existing and new Account executives.

● Manage complex B2B (some B2C) sales-cycles while effectively communicating the PathFactory value proposition to C level executives
● Provide direct guidance, support, and mentorship to the representatives through one-on-ones, call shadowing, and other coaching methods
● Partner with representatives on key accounts
● Working with our technical solutions team, demonstrate the value of Content Activation & Insights (PathFactory’s SaaS platform) to multiple stakeholders.

● Working with your team, manage your teams’ activities, pipeline and forecast to successfully achieve goals monthly, quarterly and annually
● Leverage sales automation and funnel management techniques to generate sales qualified leads
● Embody the PathFactory culture As the next PathFactory Commercial Sales Director you need:
● 3 years of Sales Management with quota carrying software or technology sellers.

● 5 years in a SaaS selling capacity
● Track record of over-achieving quota
● Experience evangelizing and selling new concepts into existing commercial accounts in North America
● Experience presenting to multiple stakeholders across marketing, sales & IT
● Very strong written & verbal communication skills
● Experience managing and growing an outbound sales team and successfully scaling
● Direct experience in B2B sales, specifically SaaS
● Previous sales methodology training, marketing automation experience & strong customer references would be considered strong assets
● Proficiency using CRM Preferred Location: We have an opening in our downtown Toronto office.

There will be some travel expected as part of the role.
