Industrial Parts Sales Manager

Thermogenics Boilers

We take pride in the reputation of our quality steam and hot water products, which are used in a wide array of industries from healthcare, food processing, to steel manufacturing and more. With highly trained service technicians, we provide 24/7 service, as well as parts and rental boilers. We’re currently seeking a solution-oriented leader, dedicated to continuous improvement; someone who’s excited by the opportunity to modernize processes, make them more efficient, and improve quality of service for customers; someone eager to put strategy and structures in place to make a huge, positive impact on our business. If you have experience in industrial parts and service and are ready to take on a strategic leadership opportunity with a fantastic, rapidly growing company this could be your next role!  About the Position Your primary goal in this position is to profitably grow our Parts business. You will achieve this by first developing, and then implementing and executing a comprehensive growth strategy. Working cross-functionally with our sales and purchasing teams, you’ll identify opportunities within our existing customer base to increase our part sales and margins. At the same time, you’ll define and implement processes that will ensure we can accommodate growth in parts sales and fulfill all the commitments we make to our customers. Day-to-day, you’ll also lead and manage our parts function – ensuring that we are quick to respond to customers calling in looking for parts, and that we’re delivering the best solutions to them. You’ll have one direct report who will support you with daily order intake. Here, you’ll enjoy the opportunity to come in, look at the way we do things, and elevate our processes so that we can take our parts operations and sales to the next level. You’ll identify ways for us to build out proactive processes, and become real partners to our customers, ensuring they always have the parts they need, when they need them. Specifically, you will: * Analyze performance results and customer feedback in order to identify process, sales, and margin improvement opportunities. Develop plans and programs to realize identified opportunities.* Leverage product and application understanding to develop proactive product performance enhancement programs for the installed base of Thermogenics equipment.* Work with our sourcing and manufacturing teams to set aggressive delivery and service quality targets for customers and affiliate offices; measure results against those service targets, and continuously improve service levels. * Set premium price levels to reflect the value add of a fast, effective, Thermogenics parts solution.* Ensure processes and procedures relating to inventory management, quoting, invoicing and collecting for Parts transactions are optimized and followed.* Seek opportunities for digital solutions to improve customer satisfaction and operational excellence.* Working with Customer Service Managers, establish key account relationships and develop client specific parts solutions.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to leverage their industry knowledge and experience, to improve a critical area of a business. As your role evolves, you will occasionally be required to travel, approximately 10-20% of your time. In addition to a competitive salary (commensurate with experience) and incentive package, you will have benefits, RSP matching, and will enjoy a family culture including volunteerism, Christmas party, golf tournaments, BBQs and more. Qualifications * 10+ years of industrial parts and service industry experience in a high-volume market, ideally with 5+ years in a part sales leadership role* Experience developing and executing industrial equipment part sales strategies to end user markets such as food & beverage, institutional (e.g. hospitals), manufacturing, etc.* Experience with process improvement, and ideally experience working with Lean tools practices* Experience with purchasing and inventory management is an asset* Experience with and/or working knowledge of boilers and related equipment would be an asset* Post-secondary degree or diploma in any technical field would be an asset* Valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle preferred How to Apply Our online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume.
