Tuesday, February 4, 2020 | About the roleThe Security Division plays an integral role within Payments Canada, overseeing security management of the organization and delivering services and operations to internal and external stakeholders.

The Division delivers Payments Canada’s security policies, standards, and programs; which include activities involving the identification and protection of assets, detection of threats against those assets and response to and recovery from security events.

The Division provides education and awareness training so that Payments Canada employees and consultants are aware of their duties and responsibilities with respect to security and privacy.As Manager, Security Services, you will work in Ottawa with a team of dedicated security professionals and will report to the Senior Director, Security and Chief Information Security Officer.| You’ll be doing things likeProviding leadership to security services staff in planning and implementing security initiatives and collaborating with business and IT leaders in setting security policies and standards.Establishing and maintaining a security service catalogue with related personnel assignments and service level commitmentsOverseeing all service requests incoming to security services from internal and external stakeholders, providing initial triage, tasking assignments and service level commitmentsManaging Payments Canada Identity and Access Management services, including provisioning and deprovisioning all privileged accounts and multi-factor token assignmentsManaging the provision of personnel security clearances in collaboration with screening partners and the Human Resources department; and ensuring that personnel only access assets for which they have an appropriate clearance.Managing security assessment services for both vendors and projects, looking deeply into both cyber and physical threats and the state of mitigating controls.Managing the physical security of Payments Canada facilities, as well as defining standards and monitoring protocols for leased and/or supplier facilities used for Payments Canada business.Managing a security awareness and communications program to support mission objectives, corporate values, and cultural expectations.Managing resource assignments, in collaboration with project management, to meet the demands of our protect and govern service requests and initiatives.|You’ll need to haveBachelor’s degree in a technology area, information security management, criminology, intelligence analysis or equivalent related experienceCombination of 5 years progressive experience in physical and personnel securityCombination of 5 years progressive experience in cyber security and information technologyMinimum of 5 years relationship management and/or leadership experienceExperience with personnel screening and security clearance processesExperience with the development and application of physical security standardsExperience with identity and access management systems and processesExperience with threat and risk assessment processes that cover both cyber and physical domainsKnowledge of information security principles, practices, technologies, and proceduresKnowledge of risk management methods and techniques for assessing threats and vulnerabilitiesKnowledge of physical alarm, surveillance, and access entry systems.Ability to identify and understand human, cyber and physical threats and trends and apply security knowledge to strengthen protective, detective, and corrective controlsGovernment of Canada Level II Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain|What we can offer youCompetitive compensation packageHealth and dental benefitsDefined contribution pension planFlexible work arrangementsProfessional development opportunitiesPrime downtown locations (Ottawa & Toronto) close to transit and shoppingGym and shower facilitiesBike lockersPlease submit your application by February 24, 2020.
