Manager, Supplier Analytics

Home Depot of Canada Inc.

This is a Full-time position in London, ON posted April 22, 2021.

Position Purpose: The primary purpose of this role is to develop and implement improved business processes and systems that advance the goals of the Supplier Analytics Program.

The Manager, Supplier Analytics ensures that all projects are in alignment with the goals of the Supplier Analytics Program and they use expertise in strategic thinking, process design and quantitative analysis to drive successful and major improvements in the Merchant/Vendor business processes.

This individual will develop a tactical strategy for supplier analytics processes that link to The Home Depot’s overall merchandising strategy while driving success with and renewals of the Supplier Analytics Program.

The Manager, Supplier Analytics will partner cross-functionally on the development and delivery of new business processes and systems ensuring a comprehensive change management program including change readiness, stakeholder engagement, organizational alignment, communications and training.

This position will be responsible for developing strong partnerships with Core and Online Merchants, Askuity, Assortment Planning, Space Planning, Store Operations, Finance, Information Technology and other groups as needed to ensure initiatives align with the goals of the Supplier Analytics Program.

This role requires preparation and delivery of presentations and written documentation to all levels of the organization to communicate the various aspects of supplier analytics initiatives, including goals, timelines and detailed updates.

The role will act in partnership with the IT Product Manager (Askuity), acting as the Program Sponsor for all inquiries and roadmap development.

Position Responsibilities Plan and strategize the structure of Supplier Analytics for Home Depot Canada.

Build relationships with key stakeholders from the many teams within the merchandising ecosystem (Merchants, Assortment Planning, Space Planning, Pricing, Replenishment, Merchandising Execution Team) to understand key priorities.

Gather insights from the merchandising ecosystem in an effective and efficient manner, maximizing the amount of information obtained.

Filter information and create business cases with recommendations for change and communication to vendors.

Partner with Vendor Success, Vendor Enablement and Merchant and Vendor Engagement to ensure messaging and communication is aligned with merchandising priorities in both the application and content strategy.

Partner with Askuity’s product development team to advocate for merchandising needs within the Askuity applications (Vendor Drill, DataConnection, and Askuity).

Desired Skills and Experience Internal Candidates: Must fulfill minimum time-in-position (1 year) and performance management code requirements (M, Meets Expectations and Consistently Demonstrates) 5 years of people management experience and leading teams 5 years in a relationship management/account management role, preferably in SAAS, Retail or CPG industries Experience working in a collaborative team environment and working with cross-functional teams Communication and presentation skills; ability to synthesize complex topics and ideas and explain them in a coherent and understandable way to key stakeholders across different functions Curious mindset; Ask the right questions to drive a conversation in the direction desired to extract the information needed based on pre-set objectives Analytics expertise; able to organize and present data that makes a business case for change Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Salesforce
