Our success would be impossible without our unwavering customer focus; as a family business, we’ve been able to maintain that focus since we started.We’re looking to add a new Project Coordinator to our Administration team: someone with organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.Project Coordinator:As our new Project Coordinator, your work will focus on reviewing installation reports as well as ensuring the accuracy of our client invoices. Using our computer systems to fully understand the details of a quote or order—everything from the products themselves to freight, customs, and storage.You’ve got exceptional communication skills and are customer-focused at all times. When it comes to helping out the sales team, you’re resourceful, and can appreciate all of the details that come with quotes/orders, especially when they are large, complex, and have many moving parts. Here’s some of the things you’ll do from day-to-day:* Work very closely with customers/clients to support them with their project needs, providing excellent customer service to them* Coordinate all details following a Furniture Sale including Quotation, Purchase, and Delivery of Office Furniture within specific timeframes and deadlines* making changes / corrections as required.* Responsible for shipping schedules, warranty and claims communication with manufacturers* Verify Order Acknowledgements for accuracy and promptly resolve and update any differences* Enter Information and Monitor Accuracy of Database* Liaise with team members / sales / design staff on orders, specifications and queries / issues* Responsible for shipping schedules, warranty and claims communication with manufacturersWorking with Holmes & Brakel:This is a one-year contract position covering for a maternity leave, working Monday to Friday, working from our Ottawa office. You’ll receive a competitive starting salary between $35,000 and $40,000 per year, commensurate with your experience.While we’ve experienced some great success over the years, we’ve stayed true to our roots as a family business. Our employees love it here, and people tend to stay with us for a long time.Qualifications:* Experience working in customer service, liaising directly with clients* Related experience in the contract furniture industry or similar wholesale/dealership environment (furniture, appliances, contracting, etc.) is an asset* Strong computer skills, and proficiency with common software (MS Office, spreadsheets, project applications, etc.)* Strong ability in fundamental math* Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment* Strong work ethic* Excellent organizational and time management skills* Demonstrated punctuality and reliability How to Apply:Our online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume.
