Project Coordinator (Newstar Training Specialist)

This is a Contract position in York, ON posted May 9, 2021.

* Assist the team with implementing NEWSTAR into the team’s day to day processes and assist with providing direction to colleaguesPrepare, log and co-ordinate all construction related documentation as required including Purchase Orders, Change Orders, RFI’s, Site Instructions, submittals, meeting minutes, closeout documents, etc.* Track and log daily, weekly, monthly files and applicable project construction documentation* Log, co-ordinate and assist with the review of shop drawings* Liaise with applicable trades for site instructions or extras that arise throughout the construction process, including follow up with trades for quotes, proper saving of all documentation and issuing Purchase Orders when required* Schedule, attend trade meetings and consultant meetings, and assist in the update and distribution of meeting minutes* Other duties and responsibilities; as requiredMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual’s status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation.
