Project Manager

This is a Contract position in Ancaster, ON posted April 22, 2021.

Work location: Mississauga Within the Construction team, as a Project Manager: Your responsibilities Develop and monitor project planning plans and budgets; Participate in the workforce management on the various construction sites; Validate plans, specifications and estimates for submission; Responsible for the supervision and inspection of construction work for the various projects; Participate in project kick-off meetings with clients and professionals involved; Verify and control the progress of projects and their general coordination; See to the quality of the work on site (site visit) and participate in site meetings; Participate in the writing of site visit reports and minutes of site meetings; Ensures that health and safety standards are respected on construction sites; Participate in the management of project closures.

Your profile Completion of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc in Electrical Engineering); Five or more years of experience in the electrical construction industry; A professional engineering (P.Eng) designation within the Province of Ontario; Strong knowledge of construction and project methodologies, financial management, as well as electrical standards and regulations; Knowledge of electrical power generation, transmission, transformation and delivery systems; Excellent communication and leadership skills and able to work as a team and to meet deadlines; Good computer skills.
