Project Manager


This is a Full-time position in Toronto, ON posted September 5, 2018.

The Role:

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Project Manager will work with stakeholders in IT, the CRM team, Analytics and leadership across the company to advance the digital transformation program through the implementation of key IT projects. The Project Manager will be asked to manage one major project and several smaller projects which may or may not dovetail with the primary effort. The following duties can be anticipated:

  • Drafting charters and project profiles to communicate scope between stakeholders and build a common understanding of the project in question
  • Call project meetings and advancing project objectives through clear communication and engagement
  • Interface with business stakeholders and technical resources/vendors to ensure requests and requirements are fully understood and documented
  • Serve as primary project point of contact for all internal parties affected by assigned projects
  • Review project deliverables in the context of achieving the desired benefits for the organization
  • Develop and tracks schedules and alert project sponsors when events fail to track to schedule, presenting options to remediate the situation
  • Track and follow up on project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and communicating these across the impacted stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any field or commensurate experience
  • At least 3 years’ project/program management experience including managing product launches, business transformation projects, IT projects, system integrations, and/or software development
  • Experience as the primary/only project manager on a project
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Experience creating and editing technical, project and user documentation
  • Detail-oriented and able to reprioritize dynamically to respond to changing business needs
  • Able to work closely with geographically dispersed teams and multiple vendors
  • Salesforce, Accuro EMR or DayForce experience are assets
  • Healthcare experience is an asset

This is full-time role that is scheduled during business hours Monday through Friday.
